Paladin vs Nibble: which app is better for learning history?
Both sell short lessons to busy adults, but they are not the same kind of app. Paladin is a history app. Nibble is a general-knowledge app in which history is one subject.

Nibble covers history alongside math, science, art and philosophy in ten-minute lessons. Both are on iPhone and Android; only Paladin lists iPad.

Yes, both are on Google Play. On Apple devices, Paladin runs on iPhone and iPad, while Nibble's App Store listing is for iPhone only.
Which one should you choose?

Choose Nibble if you…

How we checked
Prices, ratings and devices come from the US App Store and Google Play listings on October 10, 2026. On August 24, 2026 we went through each public web onboarding, signed out, without creating an account, entering an email, starting a trial or paying. We did not use either native app, so we make no claim about lesson quality, quiz depth or the exact paywall a new account receives. Our full evidence sits in the Paladin review and the Nibble review.
